Stephen Bentley and his family recently moved into an old Edwardian house in Cardiff – and thanks to Warmwave heating the previously-cold kitchen is lovely and warm and their energy usage has dropped by an amazing 50per cent.
The house has a 28-feet long kitchen, which was difficult to heat. One end of the room had a wooden floor and was fitted with a central heating radiator. At the other end the kitchen floor is tiled and the area had no radiator.
Stephen says: “We considered fitting an additional radiator but what we really wanted was under-floor heating but the cost was prohibitive.”
He looked at lots of alternative ways to heat the cold end of the kitchen before discovering Warmwave on the internet and eventually buying a Scirocco 580-watt heater.
Stephen explains: “We attached the ‘Scirocco’ to the kitchen ceiling and were delighted to discover that the tiled floor became warm, warmer in fact than the wooden floor at the other end!
“We’re delighted with our Warmwave heater and the pleasure was enhanced when Warmwave offered us a ‘meter cheater’, which reduces our energy use by a further 50%!”
In December, 2008 I purchased one of the ‘New’ glass radiators for my conservatory, as during the winter months I was unable to use it as it was very difficult and expensive to heat. The heaters I used before would cause excessive condensation. All these problems are eradicated with the Warmwave radiators. I am very pleased I had this installed and find it very beneficial. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.
