Eco Heating for Hotels and B&Bs
The Hotel and Bed & Breakfast market have a unique need for a heating system that is difficult to achieve with conventional wet central heating systems. They require a system that can be switched on by individual room when their guests arrive, switch off at a set time at night, switch on again in the morning so the guest is warm when they get up but switch off at a time when their guests normally have left.
The Eco Heating system can cope with all these variables. The heating can be held at a background temperature of say, 14 degrees whilst the rooms are empty. When the guest checks in, reception can switch on the heating, which will quickly take the room temperature up to comfort level, say 21 degrees. It can then be timed to switch off at night when the guests are in bed. In the morning the heating will come on at a set time and then go off and return to back ground temperature when the guests have normally left. If an individual guest requires heating at other times the programmed times can be overruled. This means that guests are always comfortable but heating costs are kept to a minimum.
